Prolong the scent of your perfume

Hello! Surely many times you have wondered why your perfume lasts for such a short period or you think it no longer is spreading its aroma. This is because you get used to the smell or depending to the type of skin of each. In this post I will give you some tips to make your fragrance last longer, and remain more time on your skin, but remember that not even the best perfumes last forever. Here are my tips to make your perfume last as long as possible:

• Do not bathe in perfume: When a time passes after the first application our nose gets used to the smell. That does not mean that others can not smell it, however if your fragrance is an Eau de toilette, we can be more generous at the time of apply it since its formula is lighter. However we never exceed.
• Places to apply the perfume: Surely you have ever wondered where to apply the perfume so that its duration is prolonged; Hands ?, Neck ?, Clothes ?, Hair ?. Well, in general, it is recommended to apply it in places of the body where the pulse beats for example: ears, clavicle, wrists, behind the knees and even in the navel, (do not spray it directly first take a few drops on the fingers and pass it inside the navel and around) since it is a place of the body where the temperature is higher and the perfume will take longer to evaporate.
• Attention with clothes: we all have the habit of spraying the perfume directly on clothes, but we must be careful since some fragrance compositions can stain it irreparably. We must make sure not to apply it directly to delicate clothes, especially if the perfume contains an oily base. A trick so that your clothes smell like your perfume without staining it, add a few drops to the iron to get it to aromatize and thus avoid stains.
• Keep distance when you spray the perfume: The vast majority of perfumes are better distributed if sprayed from a distance, for example if you are going to perfume your neck, tilt your head to the opposite side and keep the bottle about 10 centimeters from the skin and press the vaporizer, that way your skin will be scented and the aroma will be distributed throughout the area.
• Moisturize the skin: The aroma of the perfume is maintained more on hydrated skin than on dry skin, for that reason I recommend you to moisturize the skin very well after the bath to better maintain the aroma. The ideal is to use a moisturizer of the same fragrance , but if you do not have any moisturizer with neutral aroma will come in handy, so you will avoid dry skin where the perfume will evaporate quickly.
• The perfumes do not last forever: if you have a perfume that you like a lot and only use it on special occasions I advise you to enjoy it more often, because the perfumes are not eternal and as any cosmetic product degrades (approximately in 3 years), its components gets deteriorated with light and temperature changes, so keep them from moisture and heat, store them in dry and dark places such as inside a box.
• Occasionally retouch: normally a perfume has a duration of approximately 6 hours from the first application, from there it begins to extinguish, if you want to prolong it, take a small vaporizer with you to retouch occasionally.
• Environmental factors: the duration of a perfume is not the same in one person or another, since it varies by the PH of the skin, sweating, food etc … However there are external factors that we must avoid so as not to alter the smell of the perfume. One of them is the environments, for example where the heating is very strong can make the perfume evaporate quickly, try to avoid it.
• Do not mix fragrances: even if the perfume has begun to fade, do not apply another fragrance without showering, first remove the remains of the first fragrance. If you apply two, the scents are simultaneously altering their aroma.
